FEATURES OF THE GAS EXHIBITION IN '07

As stated before one of GAS's main features in 06 was the premier screening of The Run Up documentary.  This year sees GAS invite DOZE GREEN out for opening night. DOZE GREEN was one of the original members of the infamous Rock Steady Crew, he is a Graffiti legend and Hip Hop culture pioneer. He will be perfoming a live painting on opening night, and have several of his works on display.

Live Music: There will be a element of live music on the night, which will accompany the live painting from Doze.

Also 3-4 days prior to the opening night, we will be running a street viral campaign which will consist of constructing visual instillations around Sydney and projecting graphics on buildings around Sydney and over taking commerical billboard spacces. This will be the lead up tool which extends GAS to the streets.

The GAS exhibition provided a fantastic opportunity and experience for emerging artists to showcase their work alongside established artists from various artistic fields. It offered an invaluable chance for artists to meet and establish contacts within the art community leading to exchange of ideas and possible future collaborations. Overall the exhibition was an extremely worthwhile and valuable experience, as it provided a very encouraging opportunity for artists to show off their talents.
